I have made kefir for years. Recently I lost our grains in a move across country (box lost in the mail!) Your grains were recommended and I am now glad I lost my old faithfuls and have started with yours! They make a beautiful thick mild kefir and the grains are multiplying nicely.

I was no stranger to milk kefir grains, have been doing it for thirty years but a few years ago I moved from my house to an apartment where space is limited and I was doing three different fermentations, my kefir suffered from cross contamination, I chose Yemoos on line and their culture was great but couple years later that went bad too, now I ordered again and as usual it starts working from day one. In almost two weeks I am ready to give some culture to others, it grows so fast! The dried cultures I have ordered before don’t work but fresh culture from Yemoos does!

I have never made milk kefir and infact I am lactose intolerant but purchased a yogurt & kefir book from Azure Standards and read about the benefits. These grains took 2 rounds of making mk for them to be producing. Ithe aftet product is absolutely delicious, tangy and zingy! I would definitely recommend!
