Ordered these because I couldn't find any in my Town. The quality is exceptional and they clean easy. Have one for my Water Kefir and my Milk Kefir. They are a must have 8f you are an kefierien.
I use the 5.5" for straining milk kefir grains. The nylon mesh is flexible and allows the strainer to fold a little so it fits inside a storage container when not in use. I also like the rim hooks, which allows the strainer to rest securely on the bowl.
Strong
Plastic won't react with the Kefir's acidity like metal would. The mesh is fine enough to catch even small grains that have broken off the big ones. I'll get many years out of this one. Thank you.
