Fast shipping & healthy grains

I've had my grains for about a week and they've already multiplied. I'm getting plenty of beautiful, tasty kefir for a family of three, with some to spare each day. More than happy with my purchase. The grains shipped quickly and were in great condition when they arrived. Loved the packaging!

Brilliant!

This is the second time I've ordered milk kefir grains from Yemoos and both experiences were wonderful. The first time, eight years or so ago, I ordered the kit plus the milk grains and the kit is still going strong so I only needed the grains this time. I was trying to "multi-task" one morning a few weeks ago and make kefir and tea at the same time while chatting with my husband. I watched with horror as I instantly realized I was pouring the hot water into the jar with my freshly strained grains instead of the mug sitting next to it! I immediately poured cold water on them but it was no use. I had killed them. Since then I'd been making kefir from the previous day's kefir but it wasn't the same as from grains. My order placed on a Thursday shipped Priority Mail and arrived Monday. I turned text monitoring on at usps.com so I would know the instant it arrived in my mailbox. Just had the kefir this morning (Tuesday) and it was perfect, freash and tangy. I combined it this morning with the dime sized amount of "premie" baby grains I had been nursing along, so the original culture you sent years ago still lives on in the new one. Excellent Caring Company!

Wonderful experience

Super awesome grains. I'm completely new to making kefir. But the instructions are so easy and the grains so fresh and potent I was making thick, delicious kefir in no time. I discarded first 2 batches and after that, like clockwork, I get delish fresh kefir daily. Really appreciate the great quality and freshness.

Good experience

I recommend the milk kefir grains. I have had mine for over a year. I think at first it probably took a few months (because I was totally new to this) to get the texture correct. I had grainy kefir at first. What probably helped the texture the most was that I started using raw milk exclusively with my grains. I am lucky to have a local source for A2 raw milk. At times, my kefir has produced too much alcohol -- it seemed to be a transitional phase. Finally, I know these grains would multiply quite rapidly if I had a slightly warmer house; however, my house is 72 in the summer and 70 in the winter. (Those temperatures are even a bit cool for kombucha, as experience has taught me.) I could use a heating mat, but who cares, I am happy with them the way they are. If they do start looking like they are multiplying too fast, I just eat the excess or give them to my dog. I am fine using a high proportion of grains to milk, because it's just me in this house, and I only make about eight ounces of kefir each day, and mostly it's just creamy smooth goodness to enjoy. These grains will serve you well!
