Handling and Transit Time

Live cultures

Live cultures are shipped out every Monday and Tuesday with Priority Mail to avoid the culture from
sitting over the weekend before delivery and to ensure you receive the grains in the most fresh and
active condition possible. The deadline to have your order for any live culture shipped the same
week as purchased is every Tuesday at 1:30 pm EST (10:30 PST, 11:30 MST and 12:30 CST). If
your order is placed Wednesday we will most likely ship it the following Monday. Occasionally we
ship Wednesday or Thursday depending on your location and the weather.

Dried cultures and supplies

We ship all dried cultures and supplies within 2 business days of receipt of payment.

Pricing

Within the U.S.

Live cultures: A flat rate of $5 for the first 5 cultures. Please see handling time below.
Dried cultures: A flat rate of $2 for the first 4 cultures.
Supplies: A flat rate of $2 for the first 4 cultures.
For items such as Kits, pricing starts at $10, with combined shipping available.

Combined Shipping

We love to combine shipping for you. We don't charge any extra shipping for most multiple
purchases. For example if you buy Water Kefir, Milk Kefir, Kombucha and strainers, the shipping is
still just $5.00.

International

We ship dried cultures and supplies internationally at a low cost. Pricing varies based on weight
and combined orders, starting at $2.50 for Canada and $3.00 for all other international locations.

Bulk Purchasing
